Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis) supports the circulatory system, urinary tract, and liver function.* It has relaxing and calming effects. The genus name, Solidago, comes from the Latin solide, which means “to make whole.” Goldenrod has an approximate ORAC of 619,026 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.
Throughout Virginia and North America, goldenrods are very common wildflowers considered edible and nutritious food. It has been used on skin to heal wounds, for hypertension, hepatitis, liver congestion and fatty liver. Goldenrod essential oil supports circulatory conditions, urinary tract and bladder conditions.
